Model-Driven Software Development: Integrating Quality Assurance (Premier Reference Source)

Buy
Model-driven software development (MDSD) drastically alters the software development process, characterized by a high degree of innovation and productivity. However, quality assurance application in the domain of software models and model-driven software development is still in an emergent phase.

Model-Driven Software Development: Integrating Quality Assurance provides in-depth coverage of important concepts, issues, trends, methodologies, and technologies in quality assurance for model-driven software development. This Premier Reference Source provides educators, researchers, and practitioners with a comprehensive overview of current trends in research and practice of quality assurance in MDSD.

About the Author

Jarg Rech is a project manager and senior scientist at the Fraunhofer Institute for Experimental Software Engineering (IESE) in Kaiserslautern, Germany. He received the B.S. (Vordiplom) and the M.S. (Diplom) in computer science with a minor in electrical science from the University of Kaiserslautern, Germany. His research mainly concerns software antipatterns, software patterns, defect discovery, software mining, software retrieval, automated software reuse, software analysis, and knowledge management. He is also the speaker of the GI working group on architectural and design patterns.

Christian Bunse is an associate professor for software engineering at the International University in Germany. He received the Phd degree in computer science from the University of Kaiserslautern Germany and his B.S. (Vordiplom) and M.S. degree (Diplom) in computer science with a minor in medicine from the University of Dortmund, Germany. His research interests concern model-based software development with a specific focus on components, adaptive service engineering, and resource awareness. Christian Bunse authored several international journal articles, books (author and editor), book chapters, and refereed conference papers that mainly focus on software engineering, model-based development, and quality assurance.
