| This book constitutes the refereed proceedings of the Second International Symposium on Computing in Object-Oriented Parallel Environments, ISCOPE 98, held in Santa Fe, NM, USA, in December 1998. The 10 revised full papers presented were carefully reviewed and selected for inclusion in the proceedings from a total of 39 submissions. Also included are 15 short papers selected from the initial submissions.
