As you’ve no doubt noticed, green is all over the news. Green jobs, green products, green programs, green people. Well, maybe not green people. Yet. But you don’t have to look far to see that the U.S. is — finally, some would say — waking up to the realities that our planet needs our attention and care.
For decades, we’ve been pumping unhealthy chemicals into the air, using valuable resources as though there were no tomorrow, mowing down trees, and sinking drums of toxic waste in the middle of the ocean, thinking that the consequences of these actions were not our problems.
