Complex Valued Nonlinear Adaptive Filters: Noncircularity, Widely Linear and Neural Models

Buy

This book was written in response to the growing demand for a text that provides a unified treatment of linear and nonlinear complex valued adaptive filters, and methods for the processing of general complex signals (circular and noncircular). It brings together adaptive filtering algorithms for feedforward (transversal) and feedback architectures and the recent developments in the statistics of complex variable, under the powerful frameworks of CR (Wirtinger) calculus and augmented complex statistics. This offers a number of theoretical performance gains, which is illustrated on both stochastic gradient algorithms, such as the augmented complex least mean square (ACLMS), and those based on Kalman filters. This work is supported by a number of simulations using synthetic and real world data, including the noncircular and intermittent radar and wind signals.

Introduction to GUI with Swing
Introduction to GUI with Swing
Modern operating systems such as Microsoft’s Windows, Apple’s MacOS, and the different Unix-based versions such as Linux or Solaris use a graphical interface to communicate with the user. The communication consists of information displayed by programs and actions and commands issued by the user. This book is an introduction to graphic...

Asterisk 1.4 the Professionals Guide
Asterisk is the leading Open Source Telephony application and PBX software solution. It represents an effective, easy-to-administer, and accessible platform for running enterprise telephony requirements. The real world, however, offers numerous hurdles when running Asterisk in the commercial environment including call routing, resilience, or...
Violence and Phenomenology (Studies in Philosophy)
Violence and Phenomenology (Studies in Philosophy)

This book pursues the problem of whether violence can be understood to be constitutive of its own sense or meaning, as opposed to being merely instrumental. Dodd draws on the resources of phenomenological philosophy, and takes the form of a series of dialogues between figures both inside and outside of this tradition. The central figures...

The Story of Spin
The Story of Spin
All atomic particles have a particular "spin," analogous to the earth's rotation on its axis. The quantum mechanical reality underlying spin is complex and still poorly understood. Sin-itiro Tomonaga's The Story of Spin remains the most complete and accessible treatment of spin, and is now available in English translation....
Data Analysis with Open Source Tools
Data Analysis with Open Source Tools

THIS BOOK GREW OUT OFMY EXPERIENCE OF WORKING WITH DATA FOR VARIOUS COMPANIES IN THE TECH industry. It is a collection of those concepts and techniques that I have found to be the most useful, including many topics that I wish I had known earlier—but didn’t.

My degree is in physics, but I also worked as a software...
